NEW COURSE NUMBERS

Beginning Summer 2008 all courses offered at the University of Connecticut will have new numbers. For undergraduate students 100 and 200 level courses will now become 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 level courses. Graduate level courses will be 5000 and above.

Course Numbering System

0000-0999	For the Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture (formerly 0-99)
1000-1999	Primarily freshmen and sophomore level (formerly 100-199)
2000-2999	Primarily sophomore level (formerly 100-199)
3000-3999	Primarily juniors and senior level (formerly 200-299)
4000-4999	Primarily senior level (formerly 200-299)
5000 & above	Graduate and professional level (formerly 300 & above)
90000 -	Transfer courses (formerly 1000 and 2000)
